Welcome to the U.S.S. Apollo!

As Commanding Officer of the USS Apollo and Task Group 47B, I welcome you. Please feel free to look around. We're a creative group of writers who are always looking for new players to join our ranks. We cover a range of mission objectives from scientific to diplomatic. Over the course of the "Old Girl's" time of service there have been XOs abducted, babies born, and scientific breakthroughs.

As the crew of on Intrepid class starship, our primary mission is the exploration and documentation of our little sector of the Milky Way. As with all simple tasks though, things don't always go as planned.

If you are up for the challenge of exploring the future come join us today!

Hey all! My name is Matt and I'll be playing your new CMO - Addison MacKenzie. I'm always up for a JL, so if you have some ideas about how to get me inserted into the current plot, I'm all ears.

Looking forward to writing with you all!

Hi all,

I thought I had done this already but I completely spaced. I need to (and have been) taking a break from writing for the next 3 to 6 months. My co-worker up and quit and I'm left holding the office together and this isn't a 1 person job. So either this is my preview of what life will be like when I'm senile - or this will kill me. Either way I have to focus on my got dang job and I don't see a lot of free time opening up for a few months.

Anyway, I thought I had written this before? Maybe I did and forgot to hit send? Maybe I dreamed I was still at work writing this? You can see the problem.

;)

Have fun without me for a while.

Best,

Thomas/Matt

I apologize for the recent "suspension" of the Apollo. It was a hiccup in logistics, but it's all taken care of. Thank you for your continued support of what we do here.

» BOO! Hello there and I'm your new Chief Science Officer

Posted on Wed Jun 20th, 2018 @ 1:30am by Lieutenant Commander Matthew Plumeri in Out of Character

Hello all,

I thought I'd jump right in here and beat both the Captain and the XO to the punchline and introduce myself. I know, terribly out-of-order. Very daft of me. But, I'm new :)

My name is Thomas and I will be playing Science Officer Ltcdr. Matthew Plumeri. I've played this character for a number of years and - one of these days - I aim to figure out just how to play him right. Until then, I'm having fun with this character and I hope that he can add something good to your already established and very exciting ship and crew.

I'm a transfer from the USS Camelot which is currently on hiatus for a while. I've simmed with your CO for a few years now. And when he offered me an opportunity to play on your ship I was so happy to be able to say YES. Before the Camelot I played on the Starbase 80, Nimitz and briefly on the Illustrious. Before that I played in Bravo Fleet and before that...(in caveman days and forum groups) I played in Tango Fleet. All of that to say that I still don't know what I'm doing but I'm enjoying every minute of it and happy to be here.

So, I hope you don't mind the waves as I jump right into your "pool party" here. I'm looking forward to meetin all y'all and doing a bunch of JP's with you. Say hello if you like or send me a starter JP and let's do it to it.

Thanks for having me here,

Thomas/Matt
